Unfortunately, none of these ventures yielded the results I hoped for, prompting me to pause and reflect.

I conducted an audit of my existing skills, choosing to focus on enhancing what I already possessed rather than pursuing the next trending scheme. This introspection clarified my direction, especially as I approached my 45th birthday, realizing the immense value of my time and the importance of directing my efforts toward a few critical areas that would lead to my desired success.

I revisited my goals for the next five years and crafted a detailed strategy to achieve them. By examining my professional journey over the past decade and a half, I gained insight into my strengths and the consistent efforts I have made, confirming that I have the necessary expertise to reach my business objectives.

My 'Eureka!' Moment

After nearly a year of self-discovery, I recognized that my diverse skills had equipped me to become a digital marketing expert. This realization propelled me to develop a plan for an online business that aligns with my five-year goals.

By synthesizing my skills and experiences, I formulated a business strategy aimed at generating an additional $1,000 per month once everything is operational. My approach consists of three key phases:

Instead, I will focus on affiliate marketing, which necessitates the creation of a sales funnel to convert visitors into customers. This model appeals to me since it eliminates the need to develop a product from scratch and handle customer service.

Stage Three: Selling and Profiting

The final phase is to sell this flourishing online business for a multiplier of ten on platforms like Flippa or Empire Flippers. While growing the business to generate $1,000 monthly is a viable strategy, I have realized through my introspection that I thrive on creating new projects every few months. Therefore, the excitement of building something fresh is what truly motivates me.

Self-fulfillment holds more value to me than income from an endeavor I might not enjoy. This model is designed to take about three months to complete—from creation to receiving initial traffic and making sales. My goal is to achieve approximately 150 page views per month, which could allow me to sell the asset for around $3,000, potentially yielding that $1,000 monthly target.
