Details of the Project

Currently, the Downtown Circle exists only in the designs of Znera Space, the architectural firm behind this ambitious project. Envisioned as a 550-meter-high ring, this innovative urban center could soon break ground. The Downtown Circle is designed to redefine modern gated communities, creating a ripple effect that could influence urban planning globally.

This monumental structure aims to encompass the entirety of Downtown Dubai. Spanning three kilometers, it will feature various smaller units, including residential areas, cultural institutions, commercial spaces, and public amenities.

Sustainability is at the core of this project, appealing to a world increasingly focused on eco-friendly solutions. Although it represents a bold initiative, co-founders Najmus Chowdry and Nils Remess are ready to take on the challenge.

The design features a five-level structure supported by five substantial pillars anchored in the ground. The Saturn-like ring will encircle the entire complex, unified by the Skypark—a continuous green belt that vertically connects all levels, creating a three-dimensional, sustainable urban environment.

The Skypark will serve as the city's green heart, housing waterfalls, tropical vegetation, and diverse plant life. The project also includes plans for rainwater harvesting, solar energy utilization, carbon capture, and pollution filtration systems. Additionally, an outer tram line will feature 20 comfortable pods capable of reaching speeds up to 100 kilometers per hour, offering riders panoramic views of the city.
