Every individual's experience of life is unique. My responses to obstacles greatly influence my sense of joy.

Throughout my journey, I have encountered fate numerous times. Each confrontation has left me with greater wisdom. My achievements stem not from any secret formula; rather, I attribute them to a mix of luck, seizing opportunities, and unwavering determination. Additionally, I possess an innate ability to know when to step back!
Having experienced seventy-four rotations of the Earth around the sun, I have witnessed 27,375 days and nights. I like to think this duration has taught me valuable lessons.
For instance, I've learned not to act against common sense—both literally and metaphorically, similar to the advice against consuming yellow snow. This suggests I have more wisdom than the adage implies: “He’s not smart enough to pour piss out of a boot.”
A colleague once imparted another important lesson through careful observation. One of our coworkers frequently approached our boss with suggestions for changes. My friend noted how the boss's expressions could indicate his openness to new ideas; a furrowed brow signaled skepticism.
After this insightful lesson, we began to challenge each other to decipher people's messages based on their body language during conversations. By maintaining distance, we sharpened our skills in observing expressions and movements. Since we worked in sales, this ability proved invaluable, allowing us to anticipate objections before they were voiced.
We often watched as others missed sales opportunities simply because they couldn't interpret the non-verbal cues of potential clients. It was remarkable how we could gauge receptiveness based on the way someone positioned themselves at a table or desk. Did they lean in, indicating interest, or pull away, suggesting disinterest?

This skill, known as ‘body language,’ is utilized by sales professionals globally to preempt objections and enhance communication clarity—and it is effective!
Being aware of body language can also strengthen our relationships with family, friends, and partners.
Want to maintain harmony at home? If a family member is having a challenging day, I’ve learned to give them space—allowing them time to process their feelings. I can always approach them later when they might be more open to dialogue. This strategy is what I like to call ‘ducking the punch.’
