Thanks to the diligent efforts of developer Steve Moser, who unearthed details from the code prior to its official announcement, we now know the Apple Account Card is officially integrated into the Wallet app. Interestingly, this rollout occurred quietly, without any formal notifications to users.

This card serves as an upgraded version of the previous iTunes Pass, linked directly to your Apple ID balance. With the Apple Account Card, users can effortlessly utilize their existing funds for purchases at Apple Stores, as well as for apps, movies, music, subscriptions, and in-app purchases.

Think of the Apple Account Card as a debit card specifically for all Apple-related purchases. Once activated, it will seamlessly appear in your Wallet app. To make purchases at an Apple Store, simply use the NFC payment method available on your iPhone or Apple Watch.

So, how do you activate your Apple Account Card? Here’s a quick guide:
- Open the Wallet app on your device.
- Tap the question mark icon located in the top-right corner.
- Select "Add Apple Account."
If you don't see this option, your region might not be supported yet. After clicking "Continue," wait a few moments, and voilà! Your Apple Account Card is now ready for use.
Chapter 2: Exciting New Features
In addition to the Apple Account Card, there’s more thrilling news! Apple has also begun supporting Maryland state driving licenses within the Wallet app. Previously, only Arizona's licenses were accepted. This expansion indicates Apple’s commitment to broadening support for additional states and potentially more countries in the future.
